Jacky, Malek, and Alison’s latest article, titled “The role of language in students’ justifications of chemical phenomena”, was recently published in the International Journal of Science Education. In this study, we found that students’ demonstrated reasoning about a chemical phenomenon (in English) was associated with their language background.
