This term, graduate students from the Flynn Research Group stepped up as judges at the Ottawa Regional Science Fair (ORSF) and the University of Ottawa’s Undergraduate Science Research Opportunities (USRO).
More than just judging, this was a chance to connect, mentor, and reflect. Engaging with young scientists gave our students valuable insight into how learners think and communicate in science. These experiences strengthen their skills as chemistry education researchers and future educators.
Real-world moments like this help bridge research and practice, exactly what FRG is all about!
