We had a great time in Calgary at the 2022 Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition (CCCE) discussing chemistry education research with colleagues from around the world!
Alisha presented on her work in Systems Thinking in Chemistry Education. It was her first in-person talk and she did awesome!
Jacky presented on his work on English-as-an-additional language students in chemistry and response process validity evidence. It was a challenge putting three talks together, but he learned a lot a long the way!
Alison gave a moving awards lecture for her CIC Award for Chemistry Education. In her talk, Alison shared a history of the group’s goals and research, including key question on how we might accelerate evidence-informed change in chemistry education.
Thank you Calgary! See you next year in Vancouver!
